Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
Cabinet Maker to join our team in producing high-quality, custom cabinetry. This hands-on position involves sanding, cutting, assembly, and general labor related to cabinet manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have experience with woodworking tools, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities: - Build and assemble custom cabinets based on blueprints or specifications
- Cut, shape, and sand wood and wood substitutes using hand tools and power equipment
- Measure and mark materials accurately to ensure proper fit and finish
- Perform general shop labor including cleaning, organizing, and material handling
- Ensure all finished products meet company quality standards
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Lift and carry materials and finished products (up to 50 lbs)
Requirements: - Previous experience in woodworking or cabinetry preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Proficient with saws, sanders, drills, and other woodworking tools
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in a shop setting
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with custom cabinetry or millwork
- Ability to read and interpret drawings or shop plans
- Knowledge of joinery and finishing techniques
