Job Description
InfraHire is hiring for Logistics Clerk in GA
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy; verify against packing slips.
- Unload and process incoming and outgoing goods; prepare proper shipping documentation (bills of lading, shipping labels, customs forms).
- Conduct periodic cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies using inventory management software (ERP/WMS).
- Optimize storage space and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Prepare and process purchase orders; monitor vendor lead times and track order delivery status.
- Resolve invoice or order discrepancies with suppliers.
- Maintain and organize records of all warehouse transactions.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries; collaborate with sales, production, and accounting teams to fulfill orders.
- Use ERP/inventory systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and shipping software (e.g., FedEx Ship Manager, UPS CampusShip).
- Utilize intermediate Microsoft Excel skills for data entry and reporting.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail, basic math skills, effective communication, and time management.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred).
- Experience: 1 3 years in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
