About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) for a 13-week contract in Havre, Montana. The Occupational Therapist will organize and provide medically prescribed occupational therapy services designed to help patients improve function, independence, and quality of life following injury, illness, disease, or loss of physical function.
The therapist will provide individualized care while considering each patient's age, gender, cultural background, functional abilities, and educational needs.
ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on functional needs and prescribed rehabilitation goals.
Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to improve independence, functional performance, and overall quality of life.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment programs based on clinical response and established goals.
Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, safety, and strategies to support functional independence.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary rehabilitation professionals to coordinate patient care.
Minimum 5 Years of Occupational Therapist Experience Required.
Current, Active Montana Occupational Therapist License Required.
Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Education Program Accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association Required.
Applicable Modality Endorsement in Accordance With Montana Guidelines Required.
Ability to Work Day Shifts and Required Holiday Coverage; Montana-Based Travelers Must Reside More Than 250 Miles From the Assignment Location.
